US Airways Center is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Phoenix Tequila Fest, November 23rd and 24th in downtown Phoenix. Attendees of the Phoenix Tequila Fest will be treated to all-day samplings of the finest brands and varieties of premium and ultra-premium tequilas, as well as tequila liqueurs, crèmes, infusions and flavored tequilas. Highlighting the Phoenix Tequila Fest will be live performances by exciting rock bands and strolling mariachis. The Phoenix Tequila Fest will also feature the 2013 Margarita Challenge, sponsored by Camarena Tequila, samplings of hand-crafted holiday margaritas, the hottest Jalapeño, Serrano and Habanero Chili Pepper Eating Contest, and complimentary food sampling from the most popular restaurants in the Valley!

Over 100 different tequila varietals will be featured for sampling including Dos Lunas Tequila, Patron Spirits, Bonita Tequila, Dirty Tequila, Cruz Tequila, Camarena Tequila, 3 Amigos Tequila, Semental Tequila, Tanteo Tequila, Agave Underground Tequila, Quinta de Gomez Tequila, El Caudillo Tequila, and many other legendary and boutique tequilas; as well as specialty cocktail vendors, with a wide array of exotic margarita flavors. All tequilas featured at the Phoenix Tequila Fest are 100% Blue Agave, grown in Jalisco, the tequila making region of Mexico.

The all-inclusive ticket to the 2013 Phoenix Tequila Fest includes full access and sampling at all food and beverage booths, musical entertainment and festivities. The 2013 Phoenix Tequila Fest will be held Saturday November 23 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm and Sunday November 24 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix.

Tickets are $50 or $75 for a two-day pass and include ALL tequila sampling and food tastings, bands and musical entertainment and complete access to all exhibits and vendor booths of the Phoenix Tequila Fest.

Exhibitor Booths at US Airways Center Phoenix Tequila Fest attendees will explore a wide array of tequilas from the major labels to boutique distilleries as official vendors provide all day samples of their finest añejos, reposados and blancos. In addition, ticket holders can sample hand-crafted margaritas including last year’s favorite 3 Amigos holiday peppermint margarita and El Caudillo’s pineapple – chile pepper margarita.

Enjoy tacos, burritos, ceviche and carne asada from Phoenix’s top Mexican food restaurants.

Phoenix Tequila Fest Margarita Challenge Sponsored by Camarena Tequila
Bartenders and mixologists from the Valley’s top bars and resorts will take center stage to compete for cash and other great prizes in the 5th Annual Margarita Challenge. Throughout the day contestants will demonstrate their techniques and recipes, and submit their cocktails to be judged by the Phoenix Tequila Fest’s panel of culinary and celebrity judges and sampled by those holding VIP tickets.

One mixologist will be crowned winner of the 5th Annual Margarita Challenge and have the honor of sampling the winning cocktail at the Phoenix Tequila Fest on November 24th.
